Fire on a train

The train journey from London to Kidderminster should have been straightforward - one change at Birmingham - less than three hours. I boarded the train at 2, expecting to be in Kidderminster before 5.  However, not far out of London, at High Wycombe, our train stopped because the train in front had caught fire. (Luckily no one was injured, just inconvenienced) After a long wait and then a taxi to the next station, I arrived in Kidderminster just before 7. The fire then impacted on several other teachers following on the 4.15 train, which was cancelled, causing them to have to cross London to a different station. We were all delighted to arrive finally at the centre in Cleobury Mortimer in time for the evening session. Of course, this was nothing compared to the Palestinians' journey.     Erica and Una
